You will need to roll over your course content from one year to the next. This is an excellent opportunity to review the content for the new year and ensure it’s still relevant.

Important when copying Courses with formal assessment tasks

When copying content from previous years, please take care to either exclude formal assessment tasks from the copy process (use “Select specific content” in the copy process), or delete these from your new Canvas course after copying across all content from the previous course. Formal assessment tasks will be automatically provisioned in Canvas once entered into Edumate. If tasks are copied across from your previous course and left there then confusion may arise, and marks may need to be manually entered into the Edumate markbook at a later date.
