Evernote allows you to save your ideas, things you like, things you hear, and things you see. You can then access them across all your devices – computer, phone, iPad etc.

There are many resources on the web to help you get started with Evernote. Listed below are a few suggestions.

Staff PD Challenge:

  1. Download the Evernote software on your laptop & Create an Evernote account (only do this once!)
  2. Download the Evernote App onto your iPad (smartphone too, if you’d like!) and Sign in
  3. Create a simple note and Sync. Observe what happens on each device
  4. Add an image and even a voice recording to the note.
  5. Copy and paste something from a web browser into the note.
  6. Create a new Notebook.
  7. Place a note in the new notebook
  8. Share that new notebook with a colleague.
  9. If you like it, consider using the Webclipper plugin on your browser:  to quickly snip bits of the web into Evernote notes.
